The Arcata Excalibur Faire does have unpredictable weather so I will be offering Glitter Art as well as face painting. If it rains, I will still have something fun to offer!
I keep my face paints in my bathroom, in the morning when I get dressed I try to do one or two dog designs depending on my time and in the evening before I get ready for bed I "try" to practice at least one event design. For the month it will be mostly things requested at the last Faire
Here is my first simple Dragon it took less than 5 minutes , no paint on the eye, and isn't all cramped up like my original, which by the way, I fashioned after a dragon I thought would be easy on You-Tube by

I think the little boys will love it!

This second design is for all the little boys who would rather have a butterfly but dad is standing over them saying "butterflys are for girls"---it happens more often than you think.
Not a Dragon I know! But I got a new split cake from Jestpaint and wasn't thrilled with it at first but I do like this Butterfly from the dark side.
An updated version of my original mermaid, maybe a bit more Pirate than Rennasaince but I think the little girls will like it.
My grandchildren gave me heck for not smailing in this picture but it was the best shot I had of the mermaid---so it stays.

My attempt at a girly dragon.
Change the color and loose the eyelashes and it would easily change into a boy dragon.

I don't do blood, guts, and gore, but scars are a fact of life, everyone has them so my sister convinced me to add them to my list of possibilities. This one is 3-D made with toilet tissue and non toxic glue, but I can do a simple painted on scar as well, and I might add liquid scar to my kit for a more realistic one. (someday)
Oh, the fake one is the one on my cheek- the one between my eyes and the one on my chin are real. :-(
